Book Bounty sent the email update (attached) and published it yesterday. Unfortunately, the message was overly promotional, so I had to delete the post. The main topics described by the Book Bounty team were: The December 2025 Book Bounty update focuses on staying aligned with Amazon’s evolving review enforcement and on adding a couple of convenience features.
Key updates
- Amazon is removing both fake and real reviews more aggressively because bots can misclassify them. Book Bounty paused some planned releases to adjust.
- A new review analysis system is being introduced to flag reviews that look generic or “AI-style,” or that resemble your past wording too closely. The goal is to reduce review removals while preserving each reviewer’s voice.
- Best-practice reminders for reviewers: read at a normal pace, write authentic personal feedback, avoid copy-paste into Amazon (write on Amazon first), vary phrasing across reviews, and keep your Amazon account looking “real” via regular purchasing activity.
New features shipped
- Title Search: You can now search bounties by book title.
- Extra reporting: your bounty history view now includes a list of the Amazon marketplaces where bounties were posted (shown when you click your book cover and scroll down).
What’s next
- More “cleanup” and safety systems are coming soon to protect the platform’s authenticity, and then they plan to return focus to new features and experiences.
