Any tips on the best way to submit format changes on a pdf?
Ok, I’m a paper person. I need to see things on paper to really spot mistakes and come up with ideas. So that’s what I did when I received the first draft format: printed the whole thing and review it the old way (with a pen on my hand). Now I need to put all the comments I have on the pdf. I don’t have adobe so I am using pdf gear (free) to put my comments on the pdf but it’s taking ages (well I also lost over 30 reviewed pages for not saving - frustrating, but… my bad!). Anyway, do you have any recommendations of efficient work flows for this?

You can also import the PDF into Word and do corrections (highlighted in boxes) there. Don't remember the process, but the legal dept. in my company used to work like that. Every change to the document was visible.
How to Scan a Bunch of Documents Automatically
The question of @Laura Diaz made me think about the fact that sometimes we all need to convert a lot of physical documents into one file. It can be notes for a manuscript, receipts to claim expenses, or a multi-generational notebook with recipes from our grandma. Of course, we can use a scanner or take photos page by page. Well, some people can, but I am too lazy for it. I decided to share how I operate in such a situation. Basically, you just need to show documents to your phone and the phone will do the rest. Do you know a more effective way?

Great tip. Thank you, Igor. Will apply this to my bank statements. My previous scanner with automatic feed always jammed after 10-15 pages.
Is It Possible to Run Ads Successfully without Reviews?
I hope the data in the screenshot answers this question well enough. This is just the 7th day of the campaign, and the conversion rate is more than 19%. Hear me correctly: I do not mean to say that reviews are not important. Quite the opposite, I am sure reviews are essential for success. But do not let the absence of reviews (yet) stop you from actively promoting your book. And next, to get a very good deal for the BookVillage review platform, use the link https://bookvillage.pub/?via=guild Have you had experience with good book sales without reviews, or with a minimal number of them?

@Laura Diaz Update again: 2 more sales via ads, still no reviews (as I don't use any review sites). ACOS increased a bit as I lowered price to better match main competitor (I am still 3 Euro above him). Next step is applying a badge on the cover to highlight benefit only my book has.
Do you have less sales over the weekend?
I'm noticing this trend, and was wondering if this happens to you too. I guess it may be niche-related, but I'm curious...

Amazon printshops are usually not working too much over the weekend, so either now or just a few paperbacks get delivered.
Just completed another formatting project — sharing the full interior of You Are Who God Says You Are by Grace Walder. 📖
This is a Christian self-help devotional book formatted for Amazon KDP print. Here's what the project involved: → Title page — bold, elegant, ornamental → Copyright — scripture disclaimer included → Table of Contents — dot leaders, bold chapter names → Author's Note + Introduction + Letter to Reader → 8 full chapters with subheadings and scriptures → Devotional reflections, tables, numbered exercises → Conclusion + About the Author The entire formatting was completed within a day. The following day was used for proofreading, finalizing the layout, and making sure every detail was perfect before delivery. --- One thing I learned on this project — thanks to my mentor @Igor O who pointed this out: Instead of converting a colored image to grayscale for print, the better approach is to REDUCE THE VIBRANCE AND SATURATION of the colored image. This preserves more detail, gives better tonal range, and produces a cleaner result in print than a straight grayscale conversion. I didn't know this before. Now I do — and it shows in the final output. --- The client and I are still discussing the book cover. Once it is finalized and ready, I will upload it here as well. Drop any questions below 👇 Happy to help anyone working on their own formatting.

Looks good, only concern is the white cover not getting enough attention in Amazons SERPs. Or is the competition so colorful, that white stands out?

Still kind of beginner, even though I started in 2020. Just celebrating my 5th anniversary on KDP. Aiming for treating this more like a business. 9771
