This book has grabbed my attention right from the beginning.
A very powerful memoir.
Has anyone else read it?
It's the story of Tara Westover, born into a survivalist family in Idaho in 1986.
As a kid, she didn't:
- go to school
- see doctors
- have electricity at home
Her family lived in a rural area and just lived off the land.
The story is of her breaking away from that life and, eventually, going to university. It has the undertones of how important education is in life. It's fantastic so far.
What are you currently reading? I'm always looking for my next one.
