Haul from the Markets 🌱
Here's everything I bought at my local farmers market today! A lot of people ask me how much I spend per week on food, so I thought I'd share. Each week is a little different depending on what I'm making, whether I'm eating more simple or complex, and what my budget is. I had a bit more to spend this week (due to someone in my life being very generous), so I went a little all out, and got some extras like red dragonfruit, 2 big punnets of local strawberries and passionfruit. Total cost for everything here was $145.80 I also went to the shops and stocked up on some frozen fruit, nuts and seeds, and dry staples which cost me a little over $50. Juice is one of the best ways to start your day! It provides immediate fuel to your cells and gently wakes up and flushes your digestive system. Your first meal of the day should always be the lightest…not the heaviest! You are breaking your overnight fast, hence why it’s called break-fast.
