Getting Over Myself
I've resisted getting involved here for a while because I just wasn’t getting it. I still wouldn’t say I know how to show up perfectly or make the most of everything Goose has going on here. But I finally decided to stop negotiating with my resistance and just show up. So here I am, committing to being more present and actually letting people get to know me, and me get to know you too. And if along the way we end up supporting each other, both personally and in building our communities? Well, that’s the gravy. Extra scoop of ice cream. Cherry on top. I’m very happy with that possibility. πŸ₯³πŸ₯³πŸ₯³

⭐ Bangkok IRL - Goose is just a real person who did the right things
This is my first post here, forgive me if its a little ranty! excited to be goosing with other geese, so to speak. After spending an entire day (well despite running to a flight and then turning around and coming back becuase it was the next day!) with the Skoolers and Goose specifically something really stuck out to me They're just regular people who did the right things to move the needle. Everything was being done at a higher level, but the theme of what they do for events and relationships. Is the same thing that many businesses including my own do for their own local communities. Its the little things, remembering names, giving a warm welcome, helping with luggage and inviting open communication among strangers (even if that means pushing you out of your comfort zone a little bit) In fact one of the most relatable things about Goose was that he was apologetically himself, not trying to impress anyone or make anyone feel less than. He provided value during the presentation, and during the evening When we went out to eat we went to this fancy seafood buffet and all had dinner together. We just had normal conversations and a normal dinner. We talked about Business a little, Goose dropped an Alex Hormozi gem that shocked me (comment "pokemon" and ill reveal what he told me) but it wasn't business related. We mostly talked about movies and cartoons. It was a regular ass conversation. Another thing i noticed. Goose was not impressed by the food. He ate spaghetti and chicken nuggets and had no shame about it. I respected that. After giving my lady a hard time for eating what she was comfortable with in thailand (i kept saying, we're in thailand! Try something new! we can have chicken nuggets and pizza when we get home) But seeing someone performing at such a high level just BEING THEMSELF and doing what they like regardless of how it looks or what people think, was inspiring. There are no rules, as long as you do the RIGHT things that MOVE THE NEEDLE.
