Joy in the Everyday..
🍓🐛🦋⭐️🩷 Sometimes the smallest joys carry the brightest colors. A laugh shared, a song hummed, a story told these are the threads that weave our community together. Here’s to celebrating the little sparks that remind us we’re part of something bigger 💫. What’s one small joy that lit up your day today?

Vibes and positivity are nice!! Keep sending and receiving those! But, unfortunately, they don’t do anything for your musculoskeletal system. Think of a car battery. If it runs dry, energy can’t move from positive to negative. Your body works the same way. Muscles don’t just “decide” to move. They require water and electrolytes to send and receive the signal to contract. No fluid. No minerals. No performance. So, carry a water bottle today. Every sip is like WD-40 for your joints, brain, digestion, and recovery. And once this becomes a habit, you’ll wonder why you ignored it for so long. Easy, sneaky ways to get electrolytes (no overpriced powders): - Water + pinch of sea salt + lemon→ boring-sounding, stupidly effective - Watermelon with a light salt sprinkle→ potassium + carbs + hydration (salt makes it work) - Greek yogurt + berries + pinch of salt→ calcium, potassium, sodium, protein - Bone broth (sip it like coffee)→ sodium + fluids + joint support - Avocado with salt & lime→ potassium, magnesium, healthy fats - Pickles or olives with meals→ effortless sodium (especially if you train) - Coconut water + pinch of salt→ fixes the low-sodium problem most people miss Quick note: watch for hidden sugars in some pickles, coconut waters, and flavored yogurts. Hydration isn’t just about drinking more water. It’s about making water work. Have a great day!!!

Anti-Blitz day whatever: I had a good time and felt JOY
Last night I met with someone I had only spoken to online. We went to a coffee shop and INSTANTLY just yapped and yapped. About history, culture, life, work, geology, psychology. We laughed so much my cheeks feel SORE this morning. I didn't want the night to end so I asked if she wanted to come to this bar and the fun talks and time just continued but this time I had my best friend there and another friend and we all connected so beautifully and had an amazing time talking about all things again. I'm the kind of person that needs co-regulation (read about it on this post). I thrive in connections, especially deep ones. As humans, we need safety before anything else and to me, being around people who make me feel like i'm not too much, that what i have to say is interesting and they genuinely want to be there. THAT IS SAFETY. And my nervous system LOVES it and needs it! As I vowed to let myself feel joy without worrying about perfection, that also includes being RADICALLY myself and experience the joy of having people who appreciate it. So I’m letting this be enough. No lesson, no takeaway that needs to be optimized. Just a night where my nervous system felt safe, my body felt alive, and I didn’t shrink myself to be digestible. I felt joy. And that counts. What kind of connection makes your nervous system go “oh… this is nice”?
