Stepping out of the shadows...
Hey everyone, I'm Rose... I've been watching the conversation from my little corner. It looks pretty cozy here, thought I'd say hi. Favorite color... is the color of piece of pottery my kid made in high school, it's kind of a burgundy rose - not dark but not pink Pokemon... don't hate me, I just not much of a pokemon person. But I have a teddy bear named George - is that a good enough substitute for a pokemon? Skool struggle right now... I think it's just overthinking. I've created my community but then started questioning my ideas once I got the basics done.

🌈 2nd Anniversary Surprise
wow the past two years have gone FAST so many ups and downs along the way but man its been fun We grew WAY beyond just "goosify" and the team is responsible for a lot: - we are now a software company building apps for people - we have our own software now (the skool CRM) - we run the world tour - we help run skool ads - we help run 60 skool IRL communties + their mayors Plus The team has grown to 15 people AND we have doubled in revenue every 6 months for the past 2 yrs. this has been possible cuz ive been reinvesting EVERYTHING. (i still live out of a backpack w 5 outfits) WHY? cuz we dont all this to make money we fuckin earn money to do ALL THIS and as if it couldnt get more ridiculous on Jan 30th we drop a surprise. I cant tell u all of it... but what i CAN tell u is it MAY include something big to do w music. And I hope u beans like it. thank u @Gunta Skrastiņa + @Joseph Groom for reminding me of this day

Quick question for those who’ve grown freemium communities into paid memberships
I started my community less than a month ago. It’s still small, but I’ve been putting a lot of work into the content and I genuinely feel I’m on the right track. My model is freemium: free entry, forum access, and a few free modules that already help solve real pain points (maybe not the most critical ones, but still very valuable). For those of you who already converted free members into paid ones: How did you handle that transition? Do you actively communicate your paid plans (posts, DMs, emails)? Or do you let the value and the natural journey lead people there? I’m not looking for aggressive tactics, just real experiences. What worked for you and what didn’t? Thanks in advance πŸ™Œ
