Email set up for a client.

Hey guys, I have set up a new Fencing contractor with a new Website and webform for customer enquiries.

But the email they have provided me with is a Hotmail email (@live.com).

When testing his webform there is nothing coming through to his email.

I have told him to check spam/junk but still nothing.

Has anyone came across this before?

The client has asked for me to set up an email address with his domain name like for eg abcfencing.co.uk, so I suggested he setup a new email through Google, but they want to charge them £22 per month for the email through Google workspace, the client seems to think this is too pricey.

Is there any other options for setting him up with a new business email.
