Last 3 games James has played he has conceded very early on. First game his team lost, last week after he conceded he played exceptionally well and his team won. Saturday he wasn’t in the original squad. So come Saturday morning we got a text and would James like to be on the squad, even after this we anticipated he wouldn’t play. With 13 mins or so left team went 3-1 up and James was put on and for 10 mins he had little to do. Then the opposition floated a ball over towards James and he came off his line to collect the ball, pitch was heavy but looked a simple enough collection. Unfortunately he spilled the ball and the opposition scored. Game finished straight after the restart and his team won. However I could see he was upset. Majority of his teammates were great with him as were his coaches. He was very quiet on the way home however as we got closer to home he started to speak and he brought up how he felt that after conceded early in the last 3 games. I reassured him not to worry and to let it go. It’s how he bounces back now and I know from past mistakes he puts it behind him. Time will tell, however he does seem a lot better last couple of days 👌🧤
