Advice please

Not posted in a while noah is in u12s goalie and we havent been to training or games for a while mainly as we cant get him there due to working etc...

He does not seem bothered over it anymore i have asked loads does he want to leave as he likes beign out with his mates and he shrugs i told him we need to tell coach if he does as not fair on the team but he gets upset and wont talk has anyone had this or advise as i think i shoukd tell the coach we are out but his dad said he will be upset but no training cant play its 3 months subs i have paid with him not going
