Last night I taught a restorative yoga class before the holiday craziness. Glad I did bc we did Christmas morning today and that always brings up a bunch of emotional nonsense. It was such a good class, slow and breath oriented, just making space in our bodies for the next week where we won’t have much space for ourselves.
Kiddos went to dads after gifts this afternoon and I had a whole lot of negative energy to shake off.
The gym is such a tool for my emotions. Instead of punching someone I go and make myself sweat - or spend 50 minutes in child’s pose.. or both.
Today was a little bit of everything, and I will post a video of a wall sit variation and some single Leg standing drills - yes I do these so often bc of my hypermobility and pain / instability and you should too!
Also hit some light deadlifts (40lb), medium deadlifts(70lb) and some free standing wall Balls
