New Dispatcher Here .Looking to Learn the Right Way

Hi everyone,

I’m new to truck dispatching and currently learning the industry step by step. I joined this community to understand real dispatch operations, load booking, broker communication, lane planning, and carrier support professionally.

Right now I’m focusing on: • DAT / load board understanding

• Broker negotiation

• Dry van & reefer dispatching

• Carrier setup process

• Rate confirmations and paperwork

I’d appreciate any beginner advice, recommended learning path, or common mistakes to avoid early on. Looking forward to learning from experienced dispatchers here.
