Following Zoë’s brilliant tip from last week, I used the Portrait setting on my Pivo, and it worked perfectly! The Pivo stopped acting up, and I was able to capture the entire training session in one go.
This weekend, we tackled some new groundwork: “Forehand (Right & Left) & Hindquarters (Left & Right) Overs”, “Back-up on the nose/chest & Recall(?) or To-and-fro(?)”, and Sideways (Right & Left).
We had a bit of trial and error at first, but Ssemi did everything in one take as soon as I turned the camera on! I think focusing on not rushing her and waiting for her to process the cues really helped us.
I always want to learn how to be a better partner for Ssemi. I would deeply appreciate any feedback on the video.
