We've spent the past week talking about all the things you can still plant in June.
We've covered:
โ
Vegetables
โ
Herbs
โ
Flowers
โ
Fast-growing crops
โ
Succession planting
And hopefully we've convinced a few gardeners that June is far from too late to grow something amazing.
Now it's time for a challenge!

Not your entire garden.
Not every grow bag.
Not every planter on your deck.
Just one.
Find a container that needs a fresh start.
Maybe it's:
* An empty pot waiting for a new plant
* A container where spring crops have finished
* A planter that could use a splash of color
* A lonely grow bag that's been sitting unused
Choose just one container and give it a June refresh.
๐ฟ ๐๐ก๐๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ ๐๐ฌ ๐ ๐๐๐๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ก?
Almost anything!
You could:
๐ฑ Plant a new vegetable
๐ฟ Add an herb
๐ธ Plant flowers
๐ซ Start a fast-growing crop
โป๏ธ Replace a finished spring crop
๐ชด Rearrange and improve an existing container
There are no wrong answers.
The goal is simply to take action.

Sometimes we look at our gardens and see all the things we haven't done yet.
The weeds.
The empty pots.
The unfinished projects.
The plants we meant to start weeks ago.
But gardening isn't built in giant leaps.
It's built one container at a time.
One seed at a time.
One planting session at a time.
Today's challenge is proof that progress doesn't have to be perfect.
๐ธ ๐๐ก๐จ๐ฐ ๐๐ฌ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ก!
Once you've refreshed your container:
๐ท Take a photo
๐ท Share it in the comments
๐ทTell us what you planted
We'd love to see:
* Before and after pictures
* New seedlings
* Fresh flowers
* Herbs getting a new home
* Vegetable containers ready for summer
Every garden, every skill level, and every growing space is welcome.

One of the best things about our community is seeing what gardeners across the country are growing.
Someone's idea today might become another member's project tomorrow.
Your refreshed container could inspire dozens of gardeners to get outside and plant something this weekend.

Want to go one step further?
Plant:
โ
One vegetable
โ
One herb
โ
One flower
Even if they're in separate containers.
By the end of summer you'll have food, fragrance, and color all working together in your growing space.

This week reminded us that:
๐ June is not too late to plant.
๐ฅ There are still plenty of vegetables ready to grow.
๐ฟ Herbs thrive in summer heat.
๐ธ Flowers bring color and pollinators to our containers.
โก Fast-growing crops can provide quick wins.
โป๏ธ Empty containers are opportunities, not failures.
Most importantly:

What will you be planting in your June Refresh container?
And if you've already completed your refresh, share a photo below so we can celebrate your progress!
Let's fill this thread with inspiration, color, and fresh ideas. ๐ฑ๐ธ๐ชด
Thank you for joining me for our "What to Plant in June" series this week. Seeing everyone's gardens, questions, and ideas is what makes The Potted Garden Society such a special place. I can't wait to see what you plant next! ๐ฟ๐๐ฑ
