Desmoms or by hand

Is it more efficient to solve this using desmoms or by hand? This took my like 1 miunte using it by hand but I asked chatgpt how I would use desmoms to solve this and it got it wrong so idk if this would fall under the questions you shouldn't use desmos on because I haven't really learned desmoms theory well im learning how to solve some questions with it but Im mainly trying to understand how to solve it by hand first so i actully understand it instead of relying on desmos.
