Home made Pico 8 Arcade Stick!
I got into building keyboards during the lockdown and I decided to make my own Arcade Stick. Once my designs have been finalised I’ll write up the materials and how to do it :) Alt text: A translucent white box with an arcade stick and 2 buttons on the top, and a smaller red button jutting out the side.

Ally Bird
Play: Ally Bird So I spent a long time getting it "right" - I've read about 8 books on video games and video games and disability each, and completed the course and went through the amazing Flappy Bird tutorial. I've also built 2 raspberry pi based arcade machines (with a custom "screen reader" I had to build myself), one for "home" and one for "travel" but I'll probably end up building a simple arcade stick and use a laptop for travel considering that's all I need. I've joined several disabled gamer and game developer communities (where I found the template for the ally bird page). Amazing folks who want to make games work for everyone! Now that I'm done with construction and have a game done, I feel free enough to start with other games! My project is far from over, but I deeply appreciate being a part of the community here! Finally finished a game.
So after a few years of engine hopping, tutorial scouring, self doubt and despair, I’ve circled around to P8 and finally finished a game. Huge thanks to Spacecat and the Pico community. I’m excited to get to work on more stuff! In Claude you're a chicken, you eat corn and carrots. You emerge from an egg and start it all over again. If you do swing by and give it a whirl I hope you get a few minutes of fun! https://enzo23.itch.io/claude
