Ally Bird
Play: Ally Bird
So I spent a long time getting it "right" - I've read about 8 books on video games and video games and disability each, and completed the course and went through the amazing Flappy Bird tutorial.
I've also built 2 raspberry pi based arcade machines (with a custom "screen reader" I had to build myself), one for "home" and one for "travel" but I'll probably end up building a simple arcade stick and use a laptop for travel considering that's all I need.
I've joined several disabled gamer and game developer communities (where I found the template for the ally bird page). Amazing folks who want to make games work for everyone!
Now that I'm done with construction and have a game done, I feel free enough to start with other games!
My project is far from over, but I deeply appreciate being a part of the community here!
