Have you ever noticed how productive you become when you're avoiding something important?
You need to send a few DMs... Suddenly you notice the kitchen cupboards have been living in complete organisational chaos and clearly require immediate intervention.
The dog, who has been asleep for three hours straight, suddenly develops an urgent emotional support crisis that only you can solve.
Your email inbox becomes a matter of national importance and absolutely must be colour-coded, categorised, alphabetised, and possibly audited by a team of experts.
Oh! And you remember that one little plant in the corner who might be feeling neglected.
Or, you decide now would be an excellent time to research whether penguins have knees....
Anything... absolutely anything... except the thing you're supposed to be doing. 😂
The funny thing is that the work we avoid is rarely difficult. It's usually just a wee bit uncomfortable.
Posting isn't hard, being seen is uncomfortable.
Sending a DM isn't hard, wondering if someone will respond is uncomfortable.
Following up isn't hard, fear of rejection is uncomfortable.
Most business growth happens on the other side of that discomfort.
That's why success isn't about being the smartest person in the room. It's about doing the things that matter, even when you don't feel like it.
When that little voice says:
"Maybe tomorrow..."
Just smile and say:
"Not today, Konkus of the Bonkus." 😂
So here's a question:
What are you avoiding right now?
Because there's a good chance that's exactly where your next breakthrough is hiding.
🚀 One uncomfortable action today is worth more than a hundred perfect plans for tomorrow.
