These guys all share a few traits that make them a good fit for the program, and I'm looking forward to helping them kick ass. With that said, Funny Money has, for most of its young life, been my personal message board. It's incoherent. I'm going to change that. Starting next week, I'll be transitioning this community away from the vague "run a low-effort, low-stress, one-person business" to "make $100k a year from low-stress freelance clients." We're all about getting you clients. That's it. Focus, focus, focus. All of the courses and topics about email marketing, running an online business, copywriting, etc. will find a new home in a new group, at a future date. I had a ton of fun running the penny auction last month (592 comments) and last comment wins contest in December (301 comments). Should we do more of those? This is, as you may be aware, a GROUP. And while my vote counts as 1 million votes, I still value your input. Have you seen any cool contest in other groups you belong to? If we did run a contest, what kind of prize should we offer?

I'm being UN-PERSONED! Elon and Zuck have joined forces to delete my existence. Yesterday I tried to launch a low-budget ad campaign on X promoting this penny auction thing, and my ad account got shut down. I believe they consider auctions "gambling." 😅 Currently appealing, but that didn't go so great with Facebook. Anyway, as it currently stands: The auction will NOT be happening unless we get at least 4 more people interested by the end of Friday. I'm perfectly happy keeping this $147k proposal to myself and selling it for a lot more than a penny. I've got a travel Instagram account with over 10,000 followers that I haven't posted on in years.
