I want to take a moment today, not to teach, not to challenge you but simply to say something most people in tech never hear enough:
Iām proud of you and you should be proud of yourself too!
Thanksgiving isnāt just about food, family, or slowing down for a day. It's also a reminder to look at the things we often forget to appreciate especially the things we do for ourselves.
So today, I want you to acknowledge something important:
š Youāre building a new life.
A new skillset
A new identity
A new career
Even if it doesnāt feel fastā¦
Even if youāre struggling with a conceptā¦
Even if youāre doubting yourselfā¦
Even if progress feels invisibleā¦
You are doing the work most people never have the courage to start.
Hereās what Iām thankful for this year:
⨠Everyone who shows up even when itās hard
⨠Everyone who asks questions instead of suffering in silence
⨠Everyone who takes small steps toward a big future
⨠Everyone who cheers on others in this community
⨠Everyone rewriting their story, one day at a time
And hereās what you should be thankful for:
š The version of you who didnāt quit
š The small wins that got you this far
š The tough days that made you stronger
š The dream youāre building, even if you canāt see it fully yet
So today, take a breath. Enjoy the day. Be grateful for how far youāve come. And remember: your future self is already thankful that youāre doing this.
š¦š While you are enjoying the holiday, comment this one thing:
Whatās one thing about your journey YOUāRE thankful for this year?
