The Moment I Realized “Doing More” Was Actually Holding Me Back
After hitting my first 5 figures, I thought I finally cracked the code.
I thought the answer was simple:
Work harder. Move faster. Do more.
But the more I pushed, the more I noticed something I didn’t expect…
I wasn’t growing anymore.
I was just busy.
And there’s a huge difference.
I was checking tasks off, yes.
But I wasn’t creating from clarity.
I wasn’t making decisions from a grounded place.
My mind was fast, but my body was tired.
What nobody tells you is this:
Success doesn’t collapse when you stop working.
It collapses when you stop being aligned.
One morning, I woke up and realized I had been running on stress for so long that it felt normal.
My nervous system was wired, my breath shallow, my thoughts scattered.
And that’s when it hit me:
If I didn’t change the way I was operating, I was going to burn out no matter how much money the business made.
So, I made a shift.
I started focusing on my internal state as much as I focused on my strategy.
Breathwork.
Somatic grounding.
Nervous system regulation.
Less force, more flow.
And everything my creativity, my clarity, my productivity got sharper without me “working harder.”
It became obvious:
Your business isn’t built by what you do.
It’s built by who you are while you’re doing it.
If you’re in that season where the work feels heavy, where the pressure feels constant, where you can’t remember the last time you felt truly present…
It’s not a sign to quit.
It’s a sign to realign.
Your next level isn’t waiting in another course, another late night, or another grind session.
It’s waiting inside you in your breath, your body, your clarity, your energy.
And once you tap into that version of yourself?
Everything else starts to rise with you.
