When you first started breaking, did you ever set movement goals for yourself?
Not just “get better,” but specific things you wanted your body to understand.
I know in my first years (0-5 years) I did. → Combinations → Transitions, etc.
Ways I wanted my movement to feel.
For the seasoned heads in here, you’ve probably done this at some point.
For the younger ones—have you? Or are you just moving session to session?
Nothing wrong either way.
But intention changes how you grow.
In the next post, I’ll share 3 simple goal-setting parameters I use for movement and creativity.
