Stop Waiting for Life to Slow Down
Many Women over 40 are waiting for the perfect season.
The season when work settles down.
The season when the kids need them less.
The season when stress isn't so overwhelming.
The season when they finally have more energy.
The season when they can focus on themselves.
Life doesn't really go like that though.
Life isn't one season.
Life is made up of thousands of seasons.
There are seasons of growth.
Seasons of struggle.
Seasons of healing.
Seasons of grief.
Seasons of rebuilding.
Some seasons last years.
Some last months.
Some last only a few hours.
And if you've lived long enough, you've probably noticed something that's true.
Just when one challenge ends, another one begins.
That's why waiting for the "perfect time" to get healthy rarely works.
The women who transform their health aren't the women who finally get a perfect season.
They're the women who learn how to adapt to every season.
When life gets busy, they simplify.
When life gets stressful, they focus on the basics.
When life knocks them down, they don't start over.
They simply start again.
Because health isn't something you do when life becomes easy.
Health is what helps you handle life when it isn't.
And here's another beautiful part,
You don't have to be perfect.
You don't have to have everything figured out.
You don't have to lose all 20 pounds this month.
Whether you realize it or not.The choices you make today are seeds.
The extra glass of water.
The walk after dinner.
The strength workout.
The protein-packed breakfast.
The earlier bedtime.
The decision to stop quitting on yourself.
They're all seeds.
And just like an avocado seed eventually becomes an avocado tree, the habits you plant today eventually become the life you live tomorrow.
The challenge is that most people focus on the harvest while ignoring the planting.
They want more energy.
A smaller waistline.
Better health.
More confidence.
But those things don't appear overnight.
They grow from the seeds planted consistently over time.
So don't worry if your garden doesn't look exactly how you want it to today.
Instead, ask yourself -
"What am I planting right now?"
Because whatever you plant will grow.
Plant stress, neglect, and self abandonment, and those grow too.
Plant self care, strength, nourishment, movement, and belief, and those will grow.
Your future health is being planted today.
One choice.
One habit.
One seed at a time.
Not because life got easier.
But because you learned how to thrive in every season.
The harvest you're hoping for is hidden in the seeds you're planting today.
Keep planting. Your season is coming.
What's one seed you're planting this week?
