Kick off your Financial Life! is happening in 37 hours
Changes are coming, your opinion is wanted!
Hi everyone, I have been working over the holidays to evaluate the community and have some ideas but could really use your input as founding members so I have 3 Quick questions for you? #1 If I got rid of EVERYTHING, classrooms, tab's, leaderboards, EXCEPT 1 part, what would YOU want me to keep? #2 Now the reverse, if I KEPT everything what would YOU like me to get rid of? #3 What is the 1 thing that I don't have that you may have seen in other groups or just wish I did have here? If you are not comfortable posting here then you CAN send me a DM, but I would love it you would post on this thread as your idea might spark another idea for someone else.

Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Exciting school break....Happy New year Everyone!
However you celebrate.... or don't, no matter what I wish you joy, health and abundance always. I am more of a winter solstice celebrator... I LOVE knowing the days are getting longer... but that's the beauty in everyone being different. Celebrate how and what you want, as long as it isn't hurting someone else is my motto! Knock on wood, things are coming together and I will be able to ramp up my content and value to you all soon... have been creating a bunch of new resources, super excited to share them!

I have to apologize to you all
I have been severely slacking in this community. All I can really say is to quote from the Fresh Prince of Bellaire, my got flipped and turned upsidedown, I did not turn into a princess but a bunch of things have come at me from all different angles and I had to focus on my own health, family health surprises and helping some of my "financial services ie real world" clients needing some emergency meetings. All of which just combined to be a major brain energy drain. One of the gpod things to come out of it is that I have now created a tonne of new educational documents - I have created the habit of if a client asks for something and it needs explaining or like lately, some detailed researching, I don't just explain it verbally or using an old slideshow, I create a FSD educational resourse at the same time. So I am just at the last stage of feeding them through my little formatting script to have them properly branded etc and then I will be uploading them. There will be some restructuring of the classrooms a bit with this as well but I am super excited to have this component taking shape. So again, thank you for your patience and please know that I am still here and check every day for questions or direct messages if you have any topics of concern. I hope you all enjoy whatever celebration you may do and if you are struggling at all, this time of year also can be very hard for people please know I am thinking of you and if there is anything I can possibly help with please reach out. ✨️ Crystal

My kids and Money... some funny stories
I've been having a chat with a fellow mom on skool about her mom group and she asked about what my group is about and thought you guys might get a kick out of these stories from my kids and teaching about money... 🐴 Me: I just did up a little video as part of my financial education as Top 5 five ways to teach young people about money... hopefully help with 1 less stress for parents... I found when I started talking to my kids about money they didn't throw as MANY tantrums etc.. always some of course... but they have retained a bunch of it and as they are new adults they are way ahead of their peers in that regard. πŸ™β€β™€οΈOther mom: That’s brilliant! I love that you’re teaching kids about money early on β€” it’s such a powerful life skill. Kids are incredibly wise, and I don’t think we give them enough credit for how much they can learn through simple, honest conversations. Those moments of connection really help them understand the world and feel more capable. That’s brilliant! I love that you’re teaching kids about money early on β€” it’s such a powerful life skill. Those dang skylanders... brilliant marketing by the company... but wow... talk about targeting littles. I sure liked when they just watched videos that didn't have commercials either. πŸ™β€β™€οΈOther mom: Haha, I love that, Crystal! I have three, and they each handle money so differently. One saves everything but then wants us to buy what he wants so he doesn’t have to spend his own. One spends half. And one spends every last penny and then can’t figure out why she doesn’t have money left at the end of the day. πŸ˜…
