Tip for the day: If someone calls you claiming you missed jury duty. It is a scam. This happened to me recently. They knew my name, phone number, and address. They sent a legitimate address to the county sheriff's office. They knew all the right things to say. They had forged documents claiming a warrant for my arrest. The whole shebang. If you are worried about a scam, just hang up on them and call the number to the place they are claiming to be to see if it is legitimate.

Volatility is an interesting word. It is an easy scare tactic for headlines. It can make for emotional investing. Those that understand it can take advantage of it. Those that don't understand it often suffer. The easiest way to take advantage of it is to work with people that understand it.
