Tip for the day: If someone calls you claiming you missed jury duty. It is a scam. This happened to me recently. They knew my name, phone number, and address. They sent a legitimate address to the county sheriff's office. They knew all the right things to say. They had forged documents claiming a warrant for my arrest. The whole shebang. If you are worried about a scam, just hang up on them and call the number to the place they are claiming to be to see if it is legitimate.

Volatility is an interesting word. It is an easy scare tactic for headlines. It can make for emotional investing. Those that understand it can take advantage of it. Those that don't understand it often suffer. The easiest way to take advantage of it is to work with people that understand it.

- Would you rather have a lower income you can rely on, or a higher income that’s unpredictable? - Would you rather know your bills are covered for 12 months or earn more but live month-to-month? - Would you rather feel calm about money or feel optimistic about future income? - Would you rather automate your finances once or actively manage them every week? - Would you rather make fewer decisions about money or feel fully in control of every dollar? - Would you rather avoid financial stress entirely or recover from it quickly when it happens? - Would you rather work harder now for more flexibility later or protect your time now and adjust later? - Would you rather retire earlier with less or later with more options? - Would you rather optimize for freedom or for certainty? - Would you rather spend freely and adjust later, or spend intentionally and rarely adjust? - Would you rather have nicer things or fewer money decisions? - Would you rather enjoy upgrades now or margin later? - Would you rather be prepared for many outcomes or perfectly optimized for one? - Would you rather remove downside risk or maximize upside potential? - Would you rather build resilience or chase efficiency? - Would you rather know exactly where your money goes, or know you’re protected if something changes? - Would you rather increase income by 20% or reduce financial stress by 50%? - Would you rather make more money or make better decisions under pressure?
