Fire

Tonight the entire other side of the lake is on fire. I see the power in the cleansing and understand as much as we need to cleanse ourselves, the world can use fire to cleanse as well.

I do not feel nervous, I have lost everything many times and it does not bother me to rebuild... Again... I do worry about the 500 meter walk to my car with how fast the fires have been moving. I am only considering the possibility of fire getting to us because of the ash that is so big that has made it to our dry side of the mountain.

I see the beauty in the fire. I see the power in letting go of all the things that aren't truly ours.

I am thankful for my safety. I'm thankful that people have been smart and safe where we are.
