The Bible Recap Study is happening in 5 days
The Bible Recap Study - Monday Feb 23rd
For those who were not able to make it tonight, here is a quick summary! We will be reading Days 92 - 98 (Judges 9- 1 Samual 3) in the Bible Recap this week. For our next meeting, I’ll have some questions based on the readings for a discussion. If you have any insight through out the week, please feel free to share it here! Here is the link to the Bible Recap on Amazon. You do not need any of the study guides, but you are more than welcome to use them on your own. https://www.amazon.com/Bible-Recap-One-Year-Reading-Understanding/dp/0764237039/ref=tmm_hrd_swatch_0
"If you believe you can or you can't - you are right" - Henry Ford
I just want to prompt a question to everyone: What is the narrative that you are listening to on a daily basis? You have around 6,000 thoughts per day. Are those thoughts mostly negative about yourself? Or positive? Most of us say negative things about ourselves that we would never say to anyone else - So why would we treat ourselves any different? This week, focus on taking inventory of what your thoughts are, take them captive (2 Corinthians 10:5) and make sure that is true based on the Word of God! Your mind is very powerful and the enemy known that if he can get you to believe lies about yourself (John 8:44 - the devil is the father of lies), then he is preventing you from moving forward in your God given purpose. Jesus came so you could walk in freedom! Start thinking and living like it! Have a great week 🫶 Tori

Letting Go Of Control
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DF3lZVURNDE-5-vrsmV9XqyoKZ2UcKeS/view?usp=sharing Hi everyone! I hope ya'll are staying warm and safe during our winter storm we are facing in the US! I know it's been a hot minute since I've been on here. About two weeks ago, I felt a dramatic change in my capabilities (I am now 37 weeks pregnant). To be honest, I have been so frustrated at how exhausted, in pain, uncomfortable, and increasing sleeplessness that I am experiencing. I dont remember it being this bad when I was pregnant with my first baby. I'm in survival mode, and very much do not want to be in that state. However, I realize that I have no control over when this baby will come. I need to stop trying to make it happen, and just give it up to God. It makes me wonder what else we are carrying that we feel like we have a sense a control over (when really we do not). I know this is temporary and I just need to focus on the small things that I can do. As we are heading into the final week of January, what is something that you need to let go of trying to control, and hand it over to God? Your Sister In Christ - Tori

Daily verse
Psalm 34:18 the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. This verse is reminded to the people who are feeling down or have heartache that despite all these bad feelings, god wants to be with us and comfort us through it, he does not abandon us in times of trouble
Just wanted to introduce myself
Hey everyone! This is my first time using Skool as it’s been popping up on my insta for weeks so I thought this could be a nudge to get on it! I’m joining you guys from the UK, I’ve recently just returned from a trip to Florida which was amazing and I felt closer to God than ever and made me really want to find my brothers and sisters in Christ as it’s quite hard here in the UK. It’s not as accepted here and we are being silenced a lot. So I’m hoping I can lean on you all for support in my fitness journey and have somewhere and get godly advise! 🫶🫶
