If you are not familiar with TBR, it is a book written by Tara Lee Cobble that follows a chronological Bible reading plan and provides short, daily summaries that explain what you just read. It highlighting key themes, context, and how each passage points to God’s character. Our first meeting will be quick introductions/ice breakers. After that, we will start reading on Day 92 in TBR (Yes, I am aware that we are not actually that far into the calendar year. I am starting where Judges begins in the book). Your Comeback Is Greater Than Your Setback
Hey everyone! 👋 I know I have been away for a month or more. The last month of my pregnancy was ROUGH 😩 I dont know if it was because I had a toddler to take care of this time around, but this pregnancy took a bigger toll on my body than it did the first time around. Good news I had a healthy baby boy earlier this month! Everyone is happy and healthy now. I couldn't ask for a better delivery experience. Praise God 🙌🏻 In the month of January, I honestly got depressed. I couldn’t do the things I enjoyed. I had no energy, no matter how much time I spent in bed or caffeine I would drink. I couldn’t work out because walking was already very painful. I felt trapped in this body I didn't recognize, and I was angry, irritable, and frustrated. On top of that, everyone is looking at you like you are a ticking time bomb waiting for that news (I know this is from the best of intentions!). We have all been there in some capacity - where life does not go your way or your body is not cooperating with you. If there is one take away that I had from this experience: 🎁 Your health is a gift. Do not take it for granted. If you are looking for a reason to prioritize your health and fitness this year, I can give you one right now: 💛 Being able to show up for your loved ones the way they deserve 🛝This could look like being able to play with your kids/grandkids/nieces/nephew without getting exhausted 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 Being able to handle stress at work better that way you can focus on your family when you get home That is priceless and worth prioritizing your health for. Thank you for all of your patience and understanding during my time away! I am working on finding my routine again and am working on some exciting things. I can't wait to share it with you all! 🫶 - Tori

What is one way that you are trying to set yourself up for success this week? ⬇️ 👥 I got myself an accountability partner for the things I know I need to accomplish everyday to move myself closer towards my goals (and there are consequences when I don't follow through).

Good morning everyone! I hope ya'll had a wonderful holiday season! It was a nice break for me and now I am preparing myself for our second baby (I am due in February). I appreciate all your patience with me while my family is about to enter a big life change. Here are some announcement for this week: 🍎Nutrition Education - This week I'll be explaining what macros are and why they are important. ✝️ Only God Changes Hearts If you are looking for something good to listen to this week, yesterday's sermon from my church. I think it is safe to say most of us want some aspect of our life to change, but we would of done it already if we knew how to (or trying to use our own will power). That is where we can invite God to change our hearts, minds, and souls. Only He can remove the sinful desires of our hearts and make our desires align with his own. I encourage you to give God whatever it is you are struggling with.
