Today's quote from my book:
“These patterns are frustrating not because we’re unaware of them, but because we often are aware but repeat them anyway. That’s because self-sabotage is rarely about willpower. It’s about subconscious programming.”
Doing What You Know, Chapter 6, p. 94
This is where most people get it wrong.
They think they need more discipline.
More motivation.
More force.
But if sabotage were about willpower, you’d already be done.
You know what to do.
The issue isn’t knowledge.
It’s wiring.
Old beliefs.
Old scripts.
Old definitions of what’s safe.
You don’t fix that by yelling at yourself.
You fix it by becoming aware of the program and rewriting it through consistent action.
That’s the work.
Inside this community, we don’t just chase motivation.
We rewire patterns.
What’s one pattern you keep repeating even though you know better?
