Today's quote from my book:
“You don’t have to become fearless overnight, but you can change how you respond to fear starting right now. You don’t have to wait until you feel brave to take action. Often, courage shows up after you move, not before.”
Doing What You Know, Chapter 6, p. 100
Most people are waiting for courage.
They think one day they’ll wake up feeling bold. Confident. Ready.
That’s not how it works.
Courage is a byproduct of movement.
Not a prerequisite for it.
You don’t wait to feel brave.
You move while afraid.
You send the email.
You have the conversation.
You publish the post.
You take the step.
And then something shifts.
Your brain realizes you survived.
Your confidence grows.
Momentum starts building.
Action creates belief.
So if you’re stuck today, don’t wait for fear to disappear.
Move anyway.
Courage will catch up.
