Transdermal detox activation
TRANSDERMAL DETOX ACTIVATION If you told a conventional dermatologist that applying oil to your skin could help heal your liver, they might laugh. But mention the transdermal pharmacokinetics of ricinoleic acid, and the conversation would likely shift. Castor oil (Ricinus communis) is far from ordinary. It is composed of nearly 90% ricinoleic acid, a unique fatty acid with a molecular structure that allows it to penetrate beyond the surface of the skin into deeper dermal and subcutaneous layers. Its role isn’t just moisturizing—it’s activating. Your lymphatic system functions like the body’s drainage network. Unlike blood circulation, it has no central pump, making it prone to stagnation due to stress, inactivity, and toxic overload. Some studies suggest that topical application of castor oil may increase T-11 lymphocyte levels within 24 hours, pointing toward a potential immunomodulatory effect. So what does this mean in practice? Applying a castor oil pack over the liver area (beneath the right rib cage) may help stimulate local lymphatic flow and support bile movement. Think of your liver like a dense sponge—over time, it can become congested. Castor oil, combined with warmth, may help soften and mobilize this stagnation while promoting relaxation through parasympathetic nervous system activation. This isn’t about magic—it’s about supporting circulation, encouraging detox pathways, and leveraging the skin as a route for bioactive compounds. From ancient Egyptian medicine to modern naturopathic practices, castor oil packs have been used to address cysts, fibroids, scar tissue, and digestive sluggishness. They are also commonly associated with supporting liver detoxification processes, particularly Phase 2 pathways. If you struggle with hormonal imbalance, slow digestion, or a general sense of toxicity, your liver may benefit from extra support. VITALIZATE TIP – The Ritual Protocol: Use cold-pressed, hexane-free castor oil (quality matters, as castor plants can absorb toxins). Soak a piece of organic cotton flannel in the oil, place it over your liver area, cover with plastic to prevent staining, and apply a hot water bottle on top. Relax for 45 minutes. Repeat for 3 consecutive nights, then take a 4-day break.

WEATHER 🥶🥵
I’m just curious… how much does the weather influence your decision to train? So here are some easy tips for weather excuses… In winter, if possible, get dressed in your training clothes when you stand up in the morning and just layer over it. Just that thought of changing clothes when it is cold can easily cancel your training. Summer, if it is really hot - like heatwave hot - make sure that you prepared ice water for yourself for when you train. Air con not working in the gym… suck it up and enjoy the sweat. 🥵🤣
