Not as a break from the ā€œreal work.ā€
But AS the real work.
Here’s what I know about us (all of us): we are busy. We are action-oriented. We are driven by our goals and genuinely love building what we’re building.
And that very quality — that forward momentum — can quietly become a trap all on its own.
When you’re always DOING, you forget what you’re doing it FOR.
Play isn’t a reward for finishing.
Levity isn’t something you earn after enough output.
Pausing to be a human isn’t cheating.
It’s the whole point!
So I want to ask you something, and I want you to sit with it for a second:
What are you actually building this for?
(For me, it’s the ability to spend time with my family, homeschool my son, and be creative whenever I want!)
And more practically — what’s one small thing you can do today to bring a little more of THAT into your day, right now?
