Summer Rider Cooldown Lab is happening in 9 hours
upcoming clinic
Hi Anna! I'm attending the clinic at Shining River... I am super in love with my horse... she's a total star. We haven't gone too many places so she can be a little fidgity at first, but is quite laid back in general. This will be our first actual clinic, but we just spent a couple of months working with Elaine Hayes and Jojo stayed there for that time. My big hopes are to improve my timing and interpretation, to get more clear in my requests and to get confidence away from home. We have a little stickiness (new) with trailer loading and I fear it's because of the stress of trailering... or not enjoying our field trips..? :( Jill
🌱 Awareness Check-In — Pre-Clinic Exercises
If you had a chance to look at the pre-clinic exercises this morning—Breathe for Better Transitions or The Passive Riding Experiment—I’m curious.. What’s one thing you noticed? Maybe: - your timing shifted - your horse changed rhythm or focus - something felt easier (or harder) than expected - or you noticed something about yourself you hadn’t before It doesn’t have to be big or “impressive.”Small observations are where the real learning starts.
