I have discovered something interesting and would love to hear anyone else's similar experiences on this... recently a random stranger was forming me and asked what my favorite food is. In the past I have answered, "I'm not picky and like most anything except uncooked tomatoes." This time though, I dug in deeper and decided to actually find a favorite. My discovery was Italian foods. A few weeks prior the question came up at a "get to know each other dinner" , "what country would you like to visit?" First thought was there's so many, I don't know. But after pausing and narrowing it down I answered, "Italy has always intrigued me the most." As a young girl the boot shaped country fascinated me. Today, I was inspired to revisit the meaning of my name, which is, victory, fame, and honor. Associated with strength, success, and wisdom. Digging in deeper I discovered Laura originates from the Italian bay laurel plant. Ok, how cool is that? That can't be coincidence!
