Today we pushed play on the Connection DNA content in our Round #24. We're in Week 7 – Session 3 with the Weekly Theme of: Perfection = Improvement on the topic of the Strength Cycles of the 4 Faces – Lion Communication specifically
My Takeaways were that Lion Communication is connected to the book of Mark and to Messiah. It aligns with what is referred to as Drash teaching which is a Hebrew term. It draws truth out through stories, parables, and lived experiences rather than direct instruction. It’s the kind of communication that doesn’t rush to fix, but patiently invites discovery.
Think of moments when someone didn’t tell you what to do, but asked a question that stayed with you. One that made you pause, reflect, and see something differently. That’s Lion Communication at work.
This style of communication is not about having the right answer ready, but about awakening insight. Lion Communication asks questions that lead others to their own realization rather than forcing conclusions. It invites ownership instead of compliance, conviction instead of agreement.
Yeshua modeled Lion Communication masterfully. When He asked, “Who do you say that I am?” Obviously He wasn’t testing knowledge. He was creating space for truth to surface through engagement and response. He trusted that revelation would come through participation, not just telling them the answer and what to think or believe.
Abraham Lincoln is another historical example of this same strength. Rather than dominating with authority, he used storytelling, metaphors, and thoughtful questioning to move people toward deeper understanding. His words carried weight because they invited reflection, not because they demanded agreement.
Lion Communication leads with courage, presence, and purpose. It doesn’t rush the other person, but challenges them to rise by helping them see for themselves. It trusts that truth, once seen, carries its own power.
My commitment is to practice the Drash Lion Communication by slowing down and asking thoughtful, open-ended questions instead of defaulting to advice. I will use story, curiosity, and reflection to help the other person discover truth on their own rather than telling them what to think. I will choose presence over persuasion and trust the process of discovery to do its work.
