I am an educator, instructional leader, and lifelong learner committed to equity and excellence in education. Originally from Puerto Rico and now based in Dallas, Texas, my cultural background shapes my perspective and fuels my passion for serving diverse student populations. With 14 years in education, I have served in instructional and leadership roles focused on multilingual learners, special populations, and systems improvement. At my core, I am someone who believes in building people, strengthening systems, and creating environments where both students and teachers can thrive.
My primary goal is to create sustainable systems that drive student achievement while developing strong, confident teachers. I am passionate about coaching educators and helping them grow in instructional effectiveness, data analysis, and culturally responsive practices. Long term, I aim to continue expanding my leadership impact by influencing organizational change, improving instructional systems, and advocating for equitable opportunities for all learners. I want my leadership to leave schools stronger than I found them.
I hope to gain deeper insight into effective leadership practices, research-based strategies, and innovative approaches to organizational change. I am especially interested in engaging in meaningful dialogue that challenges my thinking and broadens my perspective. I value collaborative spaces where professionals can reflect, share experiences, and push each other toward growth. I want to refine my ability to lead with clarity, strategy, and purpose.
My education journey has been one of growth, resilience, and continuous reflection. I earned a BA in English as a Second Language Education, followed by two Master’s degrees in Educational Technology and Educational Leadership. Along the way, I have grown both professionally and personally through various leadership experiences. Now, as an Ed.D student in Educational Leadership, I am intentionally deepening my understanding of organizational systems, instructional improvement, and transformational leadership. This doctoral journey represents not just a credential, but a commitment to evolving as a leader who can make meaningful, lasting change.
I hope to meet some of y'all and network!
