What Recruiters Really Look for in a Resume
Most resumes fail for one simple reason: they don’t answer the employer’s question. Recruiters are not asking, “What have you done?” They are asking, “Why should we hire you?” Small changes in wording, structure, and focus can completely improve your resume. Quick question: What do you struggle with most on your resume? - Writing work experience - Choosing the right keywords - Making it look professional - Getting interviews Comment below I’m currently offering a FREE resume review. Send your resume to davisaddison326@gmail.com and let’s improve it.

All of it
Quick question for the Community
How many times have you applied for a job and thought, “I’m qualified… so why am I not getting interviews?” Most times, the problem isn’t your experience; it’s how your resume or profile presents you. I’m Davis Addison, and I help students and job seekers fix this gap so their applications actually lead to interviews. Instead of just rewriting resumes, I help with: • Resume review & rewriting • LinkedIn profile improvement • Cover letters that match the job role • job application strategy • Interview preparation support If you’re unsure whether your resume is helping or hurting your chances, you can send it for feedback. Send your resume or message me at:davisadsison326@gmail.com Also curious, what do you think is harder right now: getting interviews or passing interviews? Let’s discuss below.

The One Word That Will Shape Your Year
This past year changed me. Not just professionally—but personally, spiritually, and emotionally. I didn’t just step into a new role at North County Christian School. I stepped back into myself. So, my word for 2026 is RECLAIM with a side of STEWARDSHIP Reclaiming my voice but Stewarding my words Reclaiming my calling but Stewarding my superintendency Reclaiming my leadership but Stewarding my intentional actions Reclaiming my health, my connection with God, and my relationships with the people I love. It's about STEWARDSHIP of everything that God has entrusted to may care. This isn’t about starting over but returning to what always mattered. My Gifts. My Talents. My Relationships. My Health - Physical and Mental But MOST importantly my relationship with God. Here’s to a year of intentional leadership, steady growth, and stewarding what God has entrusted to me. Share your One Word below.

Lessons From A Christmas Carol About Leadership and More
This year, I’m reminded that leadership isn’t about titles, test scores, or checklists — it’s about who we’re becoming while we lead. In this week’s episodes of The Empowered Educator Show, I’m using A Christmas Carol to reflect on leadership, culture, and legacy — and then following it up with a Power Surge reminder every building leader needs to hear: 👉 It’s not too late to change the ending of this school year. Whether you’re reflecting on the leader you’ve been… or deciding how you want to lead next… these episodes are your permission to pause, reset, and move forward with intention. 🎙️ Full Episode: Lessons From A Christmas Carol About Leadership, Legacy, and More #216 ⚡ Power Surge: It’s Not Too Late to Change the Ending #217 If you’re a principal, assistant principal, or school leader leading tired people through a long season — this one’s for you.
