Filling Out Game Evaluation Forms When No Games Are Scheduled
Hey parents, I wanted to quickly address how to fill out the game evaluation forms on days when there are no games. Even if you don’t have games or training sessions, please still complete the forms based on your training with me. If you had to do an at-home workout, just rate those sections as a three on the questions about game scenarios. It's important for me to get your feedback, so make sure to submit the forms regardless of the circumstances. If you have any questions or additional comments, feel free to include them in the form or the community section.

Parents and Players. Today was a massive win for Elite Soccer Academy.
We officially completed two performance tests the 4x10 Shuttle Test and the 5-10-5 Pro Agility Test and for the first time ever, every athlete now has their real times recorded and locked into our system. And these results aren’t guesses. They’re not opinions. They’re verified BlazePod leaderboard numbers. Here’s what stood out right away. 4x10 Shuttle Test Community average time: 11.47 Fastest time today: 8.56 by @Isaias Rodríguez Players can now see exactly where they rank from top to bottom. 5-10-5 Pro Agility Test Community average time: 6.29 Fastest time today: 4.75 by @Edward Ding Again players can see every single individual score. Now here’s what this means for everyone. Each player can log in and see their exact time, compare themselves to the rest of the academy, and set a clear target for the next testing window. This gives athletes a reason to push harder and train with purpose because they’re not competing in the dark anymore. The numbers don’t lie. And as a community, we have a shared goal.If we drop those average numbers, the entire program gets faster together. This leaderboard becomes our scoreboard. It shows our strengths. It exposes our weaknesses. And it gives every athlete something concrete to chase. We’ll be testing every one to three months starting in 2026. So every athlete will be able to see progress, improvement, and real growth over time. No guessing. No wondering. Just measurable development. Parents. Players. Take a look at your numbers.Analyze them. Set a new target. And get ready to break those times next testing day. Keep in mind, we still have our Monday group to analyze plus some of our students from our 1 on 1 programs. We will compare everyones scores on here. Elite Soccer Academy is building a real performance culture, and today was the first step.Let’s get faster. Let’s push each other. Let’s dominate 2026.

Last Night's Coaching Call Recap: Nutrition, Confidence, and Defensive IQ
Parents, if your player missed last night's call, make sure they watch the replay. It was loaded with corrections and game-changing advice that every young athlete needs. Here’s what we covered: 1. Pregame Nutrition Fixes Most kids are eating the wrong things before matches. We broke down exactly why: • Too much protein before a game slows players down • Not enough carbs lowers energy • Fruits like oranges cause stomach acidity • Nuts and high-fat foods digest too slow The players learned what to eat and when to eat it so they stop running out of gas. 2. The “Scan Twice” Rule We taught the boys why scanning once isn’t enough. Games change every 1–2 seconds, and if they don’t scan twice, they panic, play unsafe passes, and lose the ball under pressure. 3. Outside Back Position Fixes We reviewed game footage and corrected the biggest mistakes: • Turning your back on attackers• Tackling with the wrong foot • Passing into dangerous areas • Dribbling too long under pressure • Not clearing wide when options disappear Every player who plays outside back needs to watch this section. 4. Confidence, Stress, and Game Anxiety We covered simple tools that help players calm their nerves: • Controlled breathing• Imagery and mental rehearsal • Understanding when to delay instead of dive in • How to make calculated tackles without risking yellow cards 5. Strength and Muscle Growth For Young Players Players finally understand the real formula: Protein + Carbs = Muscle Repair + Real Strength Not one or the other. Parents — have your child watch this video with you. This call answers the same questions I get over and over during training sessions, and it will help your player fix their nutrition, gain confidence, and play smarter immediately. Replay is attached inside this post. Let me know if you want me to review your child’s game next.
Tomorrow we start official BlazePod testing
I finally got the pods in and every athlete in the group is getting baseline numbers. We’re keeping this simple and tight. Each player will go through 2–3 short reaction and speed tests so I can track their quickness, agility, and overall performance. This isn’t a one-off. These tests will be repeated every one to three months so we can monitor real improvement and hold everyone accountable. If they’re getting faster, the data will show it. If they’re not, the data will show that too. Parents, I need ONE thing from you before testing: comment your child’s BIRTH YEAR.Not their age. Their birth year. This lets me set up their BlazePod profile correctly so the system can compare their numbers against age-appropriate standards and track progress over time. Once the profile is created, every test gets logged automatically. You’ll know exactly: • How fast they react • How quick they change direction • How much they improve every test cycle • Whether they’re keeping up with expectations for their age This helps me coach smarter and helps your kid get sharper and more competitive. Drop their birth year in the comments now.I’ll take care of everything else.
