Been posting on Tiktok for a few weeks now. I'm trying for 2 videos a day and have got about 30 produced now but am still trying to find my feet with it. Not sure if I've made any sales on Amazon yet and have decided I'm not even going to look until I've got to about 100 videos. The way I look at it is it's a long term project and there's no point looking all the time checking as I'd probably just get disheartened. Anyway - posted my video and carousel earlier this evening, checked back later and saw I had a message on Tiktok, a first for me, asking 'Hey where can I buy your book?' (I do put 'available on Amazon KDP' in the book description section) It's a small thing I know but hopefully more to come.

Running a test.. I am using OpenArt AI to generate a Storyboard from my books cover prompt. Using what is called SmartShot, OpenArt AI outputs the storyboard with one click and then it will generates the video. I am testing this, as a way to promote my funny Dad Joke books for Fathers Day. You can generate both Landscape as well as Reel sized videos. openart has a free tier - I Personally pay monthly for it.. It has a ton of the image and video models. I use it to generate my images for my kids picture story books and graphic Novels because it has a consistent character generator which really helps to maintain the characters throughout a multiple page book.
