Hi, it's SM here!
So, I have been publishing for two and half years now and do around six figures a year with Amazon KDP and Audiobooks. My main goal is to build organic traffic sources like tiktok and reach six figures in monthly income with low or no ad costs. If anyone here has any questions regarding KDP or Audiobooks, you can feel free to ask me. Really excited to be part of this group!

Hey Sourabhi, I am a KDP veteran, but I have not done Audio books.. that is totally money I have left on the table. I hope you will share more about working with Audible for success , it has been something I have wanted to do but it always seemed so complicated. I know with Eleven Labs it has gotten way easier these days. So excited to hear more about your processes.

@Sourabh M do you need to have a Business Tax number to create an Audible account?
New video out now! 🔥
Hey community, how are you?? I’ve just uploaded a new video on YT and I think it will be very useful for a lot of you! I talk about workbooks and why this kind of book is the best one right now if you insert it inside a funnel. Let me know what you think about it 🫶🏻

@Maria Bellido If you look inside of many Amazon KDP books you will see that QR codes exist and are allowed. In an ebook you can even use LINKs out to other things. but if you plan on doing both print and an ebook then a QR code is much better. I would provide both the QR code as well as the link because a person reading on their phone can't then scan a QR code, and person reading print can't click a link. ALSO Provide Text Alternatives: Always include the raw URL in plain text beneath or next to the QR code. Not all readers have smartphones, and some accessibility tools read text but cannot process images. I would use something like YT or Google drive to host the video because your book will be on Amazon forever. and often times when people use a website, in a year or two that website no longer exists. ====================== More indepth answer: what is posted when you ask Google: Amazon KDP strictly prohibits QR codes in A+ Content . Codes must not link to off-Amazon retail platforms (so NO affiliate links), contain unauthorized external file downloads, or promise incentivized reviews. ==>>>However, standard QR codes pointing to author websites or social media are generally permitted if used purely for reader engagement Permitted Uses - Engagement: Codes linking to your author website, newsletter sign-ups, social media, or other books published on Amazon are generally allowed. - - Bonus Content: Codes to supplemental story material or extras that enhance the reading experience (without making the book dependent on them) are permissible. - Placement: You can place QR codes as images within your e-book or paperback manuscript pages (such as in the front or back matter). Prohibited Uses - A+ Content Restrictions: KDP explicitly forbids QR codes anywhere within your product description page's A+ Content section. - Off-Amazon Sales Incentives: You cannot use QR codes to direct readers to purchase the book on non-Amazon platforms (like Barnes & Noble or Apple). - External Files & Giveaways: Directing users to download free PDFs, alternative e-book files, or external digital products is against KDP’s policy regarding externally hosted files. - Incentivized Reviews: You cannot use a QR code to offer rewards, discounts, or prizes in exchange for Amazon book reviews, which violates Amazon Community Guidelines.
Generate Storyboard and Video with your Books Cover Art Prompt
Running a test.. I am using OpenArt AI to generate a Storyboard from my books cover prompt. Using what is called SmartShot, OpenArt AI outputs the storyboard with one click and then it will generates the video. I am testing this, as a way to promote my funny Dad Joke books for Fathers Day. You can generate both Landscape as well as Reel sized videos. openart has a free tier - I Personally pay monthly for it.. It has a ton of the image and video models. I use it to generate my images for my kids picture story books and graphic Novels because it has a consistent character generator which really helps to maintain the characters throughout a multiple page book. Anyone that makes Picture books KNOWS that struggle is real. Hope it's ok the share my link to OpenArt.. give it a try.. I use it every day in my work. https://my.linkpod.site/openartai Note this is NOT a final video.. I would add a front and a CTA to it in post editing. I just wanted to share the potential with you, so you could think outside the box.

Generate Storyboard and Video with your Books Cover Art Prompt
Hello!
Hi everyone, I just discovered Davide's youtube channel and I'm very interested in learning and trying the strategy! I've been publishing for a few years with the "regular" method and I've only been able to get to around 1000 euros a month. My best month was one December where funny enough some customers started publishing one of my coloring books on tiktok and that book made me around 5k that month, so clearly creating content is the way 😄

wow @João Sebastião welcome, what a great story. Hey @Davide Altieri on Fiverr , you can get people with TikTok accounts to promote your stuff.. have you ever investigated that route? same for Instagram.. using people with established accounts to promo your stuff for you.. It is NOT organic since you are paying someone but most gigs aren't that expensive. Just curious about your thoughts on that. I looked on Fiverr and there are quite a few people who provide those services.
high-content books & viral/TikTok strategy
Hi everyone, New to the group, but I already love Dave’s approach to the business. Embracing content marketing instead of all the traditional methods really clicks with me. I’m also intrigued by the limited-to-no-ads strategy. I have just one question. I mostly do high-content books (not low-content or journals). Can the same strategy – producing books that have high viral potential, are easy to create, and can be marketed on TikTok – work for me? I heard Dave’s story about the "giftable couples book" that took off. Any insights on whether something similar can work for deeper, high-content nonfiction would be really appreciated.

@Dennis Oware if you don't know about BookTok you may want to look it up . TikTok has been helpful to ALL TYPES of books from PDFs to Fiction to Puzzle books.. I don't personally do TikTok because in America. I was waiting to see if it would be banned or not, so you can do similar on Instagram and Pinterest too.. the Reels work in a lot of places but TikTok is a viral hive mind for buyers from the looks of it.
