Welcome to the Elevate Publishers Community! 🚀
I’m thrilled to have you here. This community was built for entrepreneurs who are ready to stop chasing "magic keywords" and start building high-quality brands that last. To get the most out of this space and start your journey toward $10k/month, follow these two steps immediately: Step 1: Introduce Yourself! 🤝 Go to the "Introductions" section and create a post. Tell us who you are, your experience with self-publishing, and what your main goals are. This isn't just for networking—sharing your story is the first step toward building the mindset of a successful publisher. Step 2: Start the Self-Publishing Foundations Course 📚 Head over to the Classroom tab. You’ll find the first 4 lessons of my Self-Publishing Foundations course ready for you. This isn't the "classic" method everyone else teaches; this is the exact system I used to generate over $230,000 in royalties without spending a dime on Amazon Ads. How to Unlock More Content 🔓 The first lesson is available to everyone right now. To unlock the subsequent lessons, you need to "level up". How do you level up? By being an active member! Post your insights, ask questions, and interact with others' posts to earn points. This system ensures we learn from each other and build a community of true experts. If you want to dive deeper in self-publishing, you can find something interesting on my website: CLICK HERE Let’s stop following the crowd and start building something real. See you in the community!

Easy Does It
In the book I'm currently reading, "Write for Life", the author always encourages her students to set a low bar, but consistent pace, instead of binge writing and then burning out. So, even though I haven't yet watched Lesson 4 here, (because my day has been crazy), I am really looking forward to it and will do a feedback post when I have watched it. By "easy does it", the author says she means, "easy accomplishes it" - a steady pace of a little each day makes progress, instead of going at it in fits and starts. Good advice!

Invitations
So today, even though only one fellow KDP accountability partner turned up to our WAM meeting, I sent invitations to the whole group (of 4 besides myself) to come and join us here in Dave's Skool Community, because I truly think they will benefit from Dave's excellent lessons in the Classroom, and the community engagement. So my challenge is, when you other members start to see and experience the benefits of being in this Group, then it will be time to invite anyone else you know who is on this KDP journey to come and join us here. Deal?

Progress 2
For any of you who have very full days, besides your business building endeavours, you will relate to what I am about to say. After a weekend and all sorts of family life things going on, it is as if I have complete amnesia regarding where I was up to with my business course. My brain feels scrambled, so honestly, the only way I think I can back into the flow and recover my momentum is to watch the replays on my business course modules (on 1.5x playback speed). Arrgh!

The Helpfulness of Accountability Meets
Today I had my Weekly Accountability Meeting on zoom (the WAM as they call it in the 'Twelve Week Year'), but there were only the two of us who showed up today (out of 5). However, as we were screensharing different aspects of our KDP businesses, my friend discovered that a book she had up on her KDP bookshelf has been kicked back into DRAFT status, instead of LIVE, and this was the book she was going to be touring libraries with, and giving out slips with a QR Code that linked to the listing on Amazon, which is no longer working. She was so thankful to have caught that issue before she left on her trip. On the same call we also discovered that my Amazon KDP Tax status has reverted to 30% withholding, instead of the 5%. As I just received a payout today, I now realised why it was less than I had thought it should be. So by the end of our Accountability Call we both had urgent things to fix in our KDP accounts that we would not have known about, had we not jumped onto the call!
