James, could you do some basic ideas about deep half guard? I've always felt vulnerable being under someone with my neck close to someone's hip and one arm trapped. How should one feel safe, in control and also have some potential attacking opportunities?

Lately I’ve been playing around with lasso guard and find my sweeps being shut down by an opponent that bases heavy and/or puts good pressure on top…Could you possibly give some tips on lasso sweeps?
