Airlayering ficus Nerifolia
Hi all! I have a willow leaf fig that I want to airlayer, the top of the tree has some inverse taper that would create an amazing base for a new tree. When is the best time of the year to do this work? Thanks!

You’re White Pine bonsai
After watching the white pine video I decided to have a go myself. This cultivar is Pinus Parvifolia “Negishi”, cost £27 and is probably 3 year old. It has a graft but it was the best of what was on offer. I’d love to hear your thoughts on what the next steps should be and see some examples of you’re early development white pines. Kind regards Dan

The ugly pine
Hi! The last video featured a white pine with a graft and showed the approach Tien would follow at the nursery. As he says us beginners are scared to chop our little precious trees. This is what I did with mine, i'd love some feedback and advice on next steps keep improving it. In the link below there are images of the tree before the last lot of work. https://youtube.com/shorts/QbqGs9UgMwI?si=-ww487mLjhvvQfBC
Fertilizer
When I attended the Bonsai workshop, the lecturer told me that if my Bonsai starts budding 4 weeks after repotting it, then I should use some fertilizer. Was he talking about the Chinese Juniper or the Maple tree?
