Last week inside Earth 2.0 we hosted a conversation that most platforms would probably never allow.

And that was exactly the intention.
We welcomed investigative health researcher Jonathan Otto for a completely uncensored conversation exploring healing approaches that exist far outside conventional medicine.
This wasn’t about telling anyone what to believe.
It was about questioning the narrative, exploring ancient knowledge, and reconnecting with the body’s regenerative intelligence.
If you missed the call, you can watch the replay here:

Below is a breakdown of the most powerful ideas we explored together, along with resources from Jonathan’s research.
1. Ancient Biological Feedback: Urine Therapy
One of the most controversial parts of the conversation.
But also one of the most historically documented.
Urine therapy has been referenced for thousands of years in:
• Ayurvedic medicine
• Traditional Chinese medicine
• survival medicine
• ancient Egyptian texts
The concept is based on something very simple.
Urine is not just waste.
It contains:
• hormones
• antibodies
• metabolic signaling molecules
• peptides
• minerals
Some traditions believed reintroducing these signals could help the body regulate immune responses and biological feedback loops.
Whether someone agrees with this practice or not, the deeper question we explored was:
What if the body already contains information for its own healing?
2. Red Light Therapy (Photobiomodulation)
One of the more scientifically researched topics from the discussion.
Red and near infrared light have been studied for decades for their effects on cells.
These wavelengths interact directly with mitochondria, the energy centers of the body.
Potential benefits studied include:
• increased cellular energy (ATP production)
• improved circulation
• reduced inflammation
• faster tissue repair
• improved skin regeneration
• support for immune function
The key mechanism involves light interacting with an enzyme in mitochondria called cytochrome c oxidase, which helps improve cellular energy production.
This field is called photobiomodulation.
NASA even studied it originally to help astronauts heal wounds faster in space.
3. The “Big 7” Chronic Conditions
Jonathan’s research often focuses on what he calls the Big 7 modern diseases, including conditions like:
• cancer
• autoimmune disease
• neurological conditions
• metabolic disorders
• chronic inflammation
One of the key themes from the research materials he shared is that many chronic illnesses share similar underlying root drivers:
• mitochondrial dysfunction
• chronic inflammation
• toxin accumulation
• immune system dysregulation
Which is why therapies that support cellular energy and immune regulation are becoming an interesting area of exploration.
4. Why Some Therapies Stay Outside Mainstream Medicine
Another important part of the conversation was understanding why certain therapies never become widely known.
Some possible reasons:
• lack of funding for non patentable therapies
• pharmaceutical focused healthcare systems
• regulatory barriers
• historical knowledge getting lost over time
Again this doesn’t mean every alternative idea is correct.
But it raises a powerful question:
How do we decide what knowledge becomes “accepted medicine”?
Key Research Area: Photobiomodulation

The Bigger Message
The goal of these conversations inside Earth 2.0 is not to promote belief systems.
It is to promote:
• curiosity
• critical thinking
• health sovereignty
• exploration of both ancient wisdom and modern science
The more we learn, the more we realize how much we still don’t understand about the human body.
And that curiosity is where real discovery begins.
Reflection for the Community:
After watching this conversation:
What idea challenged your thinking the most?
Was it:
• urine therapy
• red light therapy
• or the bigger question of how healing knowledge becomes accepted?
Drop your thoughts below.
Let’s explore this together.
