Maggie days 26 and 27
Wednesday I finally succumbed to my rising panic about the emerging constitutional crisis in the USA and had a full on meltdown. So... training did not happen.
Day 26 (Thursday): more work on Maggie staying in place while I went out the front door and came back in, plus some on leash heeling on walk.
Day 27 (Friday): Did some off leash heeling around off leash dogs successfully! (Though in all fairness I released her after about 10 seconds -- didn't want to push my luck.) More work on getting on and off "place" at home. She's great at this as a game now, but I've been lazy about working on duration, which we need to do for it to become useful...
