Day 19 Structured Walk and Engagement

Didn’t post again last night, same story running around with my brother lol. He’s going home today so I won’t have any excuses this coming week 😅Good day with the pup though. We got out for our morning walk. Just a decompression day keeping loose leash mechanics. She did excellent a couple times I thought she was gonna try to take off after some squirrels she redirected on her own and I was so proud!!

Our food and engagement drills staying on par. I keep meaning to get some film of our contacting cause I’m really not sure if she’s getting it and that’s solely due to my lack clarity on teaching it. Alas, our front paw positioning is doing great and the duration is holding. Still keeping it light 2-3 secs and release. Her stationary heel, and middle are good. Her front and her come around(returning straight forward and into middle) are looking pretty sloppy so we’ll tighten that up. All in all good day
