128-130 chaos and calm πŸ¦”
We have had a good few days, ticking along running the normal things and plugging the heel with numpty boy.
until last night when Igor decided he wanted to bring his new mate in for dinner. Im guessing in igors mind he was planning on it being dinner! it was chaos for a while trying to stop him bringing it in the house and then once i evicted it he then spent a good 30 mins sniffing every inch of the patio in hope that it would rock up again.
However in all the crazy he did drop it when asked so that's a plus.
Training today had me slightly surprised. We did some scent work, over, unders,up, balance, heel work and so on.
I put Igor in place while I moved some scent boxes around. He went to break early but instantly listened when I said stay and when I got back to him he went to shoot off before my release but not only did he stop when asked he came back to place and waited to be released!! What the! Who is he???
He really got the hang of 2 toy "outs" once he realised he gets the second toy once her drops the first. His love of a toy is strong but he did so well.
Phoenix was really attentive, I have seen a big shift in her over the last few months, her crazy is still there and she still needs some work on a few things but I don't give her enough credit sometimes, she's a real pleasure to train at the moment.
So apart from hedgehog gate things have been ok this week so far. I've probably jinxed myself now.
