CotW Pivot!
For the first week of March I am creating a Cult for your campaigns! The Cult: The Prowlers of the Pale Gallop "The sky is our ceiling; the hunt is our spice." The Prowlers are an obscure, all-female sect of hunters and gourmands who worship Zyro the Food Meister, a minor Fiend from the Abyss who takes the form of a six-eyed, leopard-spotted Tabaxi of immense girth. They believe that civilization (walls, roofs, and "blandness") softens the soul. To them, the ultimate life is a violent hunt followed by a decadent, herb-infused feast. The Deity: Zyro the Food Meister Zyro is a Cat Fiend (Neutral Evil) who rules a small, open-air pocket dimension in the Abyss known as The Infinite Pantry. Unlike most demons who want to destroy, Zyro wants to consume. She grants her followers supernatural predatory grace, provided they never eat "common" food and never step foot under a finished roof. Cult Dogma & Taboos - The Great Outdoors: The cult suffers from a unique psychological aversion to being indoors. Entering a building requires a DC 15 Wisdom Saving Throw to avoid the Frightened condition. They sleep under the stars, even in blizzards. - The Gender Ban: No men are permitted. Zyro claims men "lack the necessary feline finesse" and "smell like wet dogs." - The White Nectar (Ranch): The cult is obsessed with a magical condiment they call "The White Nectar"—essentially a hyper-potent, magically infused Ranch Dressing. They use it as a dip, a war paint, and a ritualistic offering. To them, a meal without "The Zing" is a blasphemy. - Lavish Trading: They don't care for gold. They trade in Lavish Treats: candied monster hearts, Owlbear marrow crackers, or "The Zing" itself. Recruitment: The Selective Purge The Prowlers are notoriously picky. To join, a candidate must be female and pass The Three Tastings: 1. The Scent: Must track a displacer beast by smell alone across 10 miles. 2. The Kill: Must take down a CR 3 or higher beast using only "claws" (unarmed strikes or daggers). 3. The Palate: Must drink a pint of Zyro’s "Ancient Hidden Valley" Ranch without vomiting. It is spicy enough to melt lead.
CotW: Kyra (Feb. Wk 4)
A swirl of shimmering starlight and the scent of wild spring jasmine heralds the arrival of Kyra the Lighthearted, a celestial traveler whose very presence feels like the first flush of a fleeting crush. Her form is a fluid masterpiece of divine grace, draped in translucent silk ribbons that move as if caught in a breeze only she can feel. At her heels, Vulixa, a fox of spun frost and solar fire, darts with a yip of pure mischief, leaving a trail of sparkling condensation in the air. Kyra doesn't walk so much as dance through the world, her laughter a melodic chime that makes even the sternest hearts skip a beat. To her, existence is a grand ballroom, and every soul she meets is a potential partner in a dance that—while breathtakingly intense—she has no intention of finishing.

CotW(3rd Feb) Kalythos the Bond-Soul
Kalythos is the strength of the link. He represents the "Shared Burden"—the reason soldiers survive a trench or neighbors survive a famine by leaning on one another. He represents "Philao" love in the Thalpolyres Pillars of the February gods. In the Dalelands, Kalythos is depicted as two figures carved from a single piece of blue-tinted marble, or as a traveler carrying two lanterns. He is the "Friend in the Blizzard." Legend says that if two people are lost in a February white-out and hold hands, Kalythos wraps them in a spectral blue cloak that shares their body heat perfectly, ensuring that neither freezes unless both do. Warlocks of Kalythos often find that their spells "jump" between allies to provide buffs, while his Clerics are the ultimate tactical leaders on the winter battlefield.

2nd Week Feb (COTW)
In the Dalelands, Ethelyra is known as the "Heartbeat of the Blizzard." While her siblings in the Thalpolyres represent the external comforts of a warm room or a shared meal, Ethelyra represents the internal furnace. She is the goddess of the flush—that sudden rush of heat to the cheeks when you see a lover, or the surge of adrenaline that keeps a traveler moving through a drift. She is often depicted not in heavy furs, but in sheer, silken robes of deepest violet and pink, standing barefoot in the snow. Where she steps, the ice doesn't just melt; it turns directly into steam.
