Ok, so I'm not criticizing or critiquing this reel, but I'm asking the question of comparison and clarity for others. I understand the differences, but others may not.
This is considered a "fit technique", but it requires getting close to strike with the shoulder and "press" your man off of you. It is an older way of doing things and being taught.
One of the biggest concerns I hear from older coaches is the fear of the player breaking their arm by striking the sternum and arm/shoulder. Can anyone talk through the varied teaching concepts and ideas here for us?
